Theresa A. Brown, Managing Partner, C.P.A.
I am Theresa A Brown, the founder and Manager Partner of Brown & Associates CPA, INC. I have been in public accounting since 1989.
I specialize in accounting and tax services for small to medium-sized businesses, along with personal tax returns. I have a wide variety of experience in serving clients from various industries. I have many years of experience in representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Indiana Department of Revenue.
Being a technology pro, I am a Quickbooks proadvisor and have many years of Quickbooks experience.
A graduate of Purdue University in Hammond, Indiana, I am a member of various associations.
Pam Long
I am Pam Long and I have been working at Brown & Associates since 2004.
I have more than 30 years of experience in accounts and administration. Here I am responsible for admin, secretarial, and clerical duties.
I am usually the first and often the last person that you might interact at our office. I bring in a cheery personality and warmth when welcoming you into the office. I also review income tax returns and paperwork with clients.
Sara Emshwiller
I have been with Brown & Associates CPA since 2020. My background includes 15 years of accounting with both public and private firms.
I specialize in both live and after the fact payroll processing, bookkeeping, and preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.

Staff Accountant
I came to Brown & Associates in 2015 with over 30 years of experience. My back ground is Accounting and Income Tax preparations; updating Organizing and maintaining organization’s accounting records, financial reports and general ledger accounts. Prepare and review the organization’s consolidated financial statements to ensure everything is accurate and complies with legal requirements. I have attended Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL and Mother of Sorrows Catholic High School in Blue Island, IL I participate in many continuing education seminars annually.
